Welcome!

Like many of you, we are excited for the upcoming introduction of natural gas service to the Tongue River Valley! Several members of our staff live in the valley and know first hand the savings on energy costs that natural gas will provide. As your home and small business service specialist, Alpine is here to help you through the process of converting your property to natural gas, beginning with that first major question: how much will it cost to convert to natural gas?

We want to make answering this question as easy as possible for you, so we are offering both in-person and online options for a FREE conversion cost assessment. If you would prefer that we come see your equipment for ourselves, great - we will have staff in the valley on Fridays to conduct in-person assessments at no cost. On the other hand, we know that fitting one more appointment into the week can be a challenge and many people would prefer to seek out an online quote.

We have put together the following questionnaire to help generate a conversion assessment and cost estimate for your property. In many cases, this information will be sufficient for us to generate our assessment. If it's not, or if you would simply prefer us to come see you in person, we will be more than happy to schedule a time for an in-person assessment.

Please provide as much information as possible on the following questions to help us put together an accurate cost estimate. Once you submit your questionnaire, we will have your assessment/estimate ready within several days.

Before you get started, we suggest pulling together a few pieces of information to make completing the questionnaire a breeze:
  • Compile a list of all the different pieces of equipment you are interested in converting/replacing (e.g. heating system, water heater, etc.), including what they use (e.g propane, electricity, etc.) and how old they are.
  • If you use propane, take note of whether your interior piping is copper or iron, and measure the outer width of the pipe. If possible, take a picture with a ruler measuring the outer width of the pipe (you will have a chance to upload this picture to the questionnaire).
  • Take pictures of the equipment information/rating plates on your equipment (e.g. heating system, water heater, etc.). You will have a chance to upload these to the questionnaire. Your equipment information plate will look something like this:
